Keep wildlife safe this Easter!

As we move into the easter period, with schools out and people flocking to parks to enjoy the spring weather, we want to remind everyone in the ward that it is an offensive to intentionally injure or kill wildlife under the Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981) .

Though there has been a national rise in animals like swans and ducks being targeted for support, in Uxbridge we have disrupted this trend. With the help of the community we have been able to identify and stop offenders, confiscating catapults and issuing CBOs.

Our officers are remaining vigilant, and we hope our community is too! Together we can keep this easter safe for spring-chicks and eggs of all types.
